Remote Assist 2.0 preview
Version 2.0.0-preview.9 · Windows x64
- Remote clicks can minimise the host app using its title-bar minimise button or Minimise & keep sharing. Approval and access controls stay local.
- Session-bound input cursors allow a new request after a disconnect without restarting the host app.
- Adaptive image compression, faster input polling and a separate authenticated transport budget reduce avoidable control delays. Network and hosting latency still affect speed.
- Recent connections show device cards with Save, Remove and Connect. Use Save screen preview during a session to keep an encrypted thumbnail locally.
- Language and Emoji controls have safer event handling and menu lifetimes.
- Addresses group automatically into four-digit blocks while typing or pasting.
- Full download: 51.9 MB. Optional Lite download: 484 KB, requiring Microsoft .NET 10 Windows Desktop Runtime x64.
Earlier previews
Through version 2.0.0-preview.7 · 25 October 2026
- Start another session without restarting the app. Your address stays the same; every new connection needs approval.
- A new TRIQ session overview shows connection details, control status and session time, with a clear Minimise & keep sharing button.
- A roomier chat panel keeps language options, messages and attachments together.
- Includes the portal fix that keeps the ticket chat message box visible beside the remote screen.
- Windows connection flicker fix: late status responses cannot undo a new connection or approval. The waiting view stays visible until the first complete screen image is ready.
- Screen frames update a dedicated buffered canvas; view changes are grouped to reduce repeated layout and repaint work.
- Connection rendering now decodes complete images, uses double buffering on Windows and keeps the last image during brief transport interruptions.
- The remote viewer uses the main TRIQ chat with reading language, translation and existing conversation tools.
- Windows chat adds reading language, translation, search, replies, copy and emoji insertion; Full TRIQ chat opens account features under your own login.
- A completely new download page beneath the original TRIQ header, with Login, Sign up and all top menus retained.
- More colourful, compact Windows home screen with no application-page scrolling, adaptive spacing and Copy ID directly beside the address in the same box.
- Bolder download page with a masked illustration address and responsive mobile layout.
- Automatic extra-day payment verification in ticket chat and the customer wallet, with checkout-return recovery and 15 / 30-second status updates.
- Refreshed TRIQ blue-and-white interface, rounded controls, clear connection status and a compact address card.
- Improved confirmation alignment and instructions after the chat download link is sent.
- Approval inside the Windows app, with the primary screen selected automatically.
- Automatic, persistent 16-digit remote address with Copy ID.
- App-to-app connections without a TRIQ account, plus connections from accepted TRIQ chats.
- One local approval for screen viewing and mouse and keyboard control.
- Native screen resolution, full-screen viewer and the same ticket/private chat, including session start and end records.
- Photos, videos and supported documents, up to 10 MB each.
- Pause control, End session and emergency keyboard stop.
- A single download location shared by the website and portal chat cards.
Before public release
Publisher signing and acceptance tests on physical Windows devices are still required. The app runs with normal user permissions and cannot control elevated administrator prompts, lock screens or protected desktops. The address is retained for the same Windows user profile; reinstalling Windows or deleting the saved identity can create a new address.
Live content passes through the TRIQ HTTPS relay. It is not end-to-end encrypted. This preview has limited server capacity and a JPEG screen stream; network conditions affect responsiveness.
